Wild Muscadine vines are truly something special this time of year, winding through the woods and peeking out along the forest edges with clusters of deep purple grapes. If you know what you’re looking for, you’ll spot them climbing trees and spilling into the sunlight all across Wakulla County.
We’re blessed to have access to an abundance of these wild muscadines, harvested at peak ripeness and turned into small-batch jelly right here at Bright Acres Homestead. Each batch is carefully cooked to preserve the natural character of the fruit and that unmistakable Southern flavor.
This jelly is a beautiful clear ruby-red color with a classic muscadine taste—bold yet balanced, lightly sweet with a gently tangy finish that lingers. It’s a truly unique jelly that stands confidently on its own.
Enjoy it on warm biscuits and toast, pancakes or waffles, or give a good ole peanut butter and jelly sandwich a Southern twist. It’s also delicious paired with cream cheese and crackers or tucked into a gift basket for a special treat.
A quantity of 1 is for a single 8 oz jar.
Enjoy a “Taste of Wakulla” treat straight from Bright Acres Homestead of Wakulla County, FL.
